“In 2014 I had the privilege of assisting Ms Susanne Hogan in the preparation of a construction claim for Northwest General Contractors of Glen Ellyn, IL. The claim regarded the contractor’s position on a project for Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD) of Greater Chicago. MWRD took the position that the contractor was at fault for a significant number of days of delay to the completion of the project. Under Ms Hogan’s leadership our claims resolution team was able to justify all instances of delays that were presented against our client and defend the contractor’s arguments of no fault in the delay challenges. Ms Hogan showed absolute resolve to not only challenge the accusations of delay but to drill down to pertinent facts proving that in fact the contractor was due consideration for impediments to completing the project on time.
