State and Local Work

dsi has been certified since early in its history as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).  This certification allows dsi to take advantage of preferences for participation in projects funded with federal dollars, primarily executed by state government.

In general, state infrastructure projects are well-suited to small to mid-sized engineering and construction management firms.  Most states make an effort to ensure that smaller companies are included in the diversity equation for procured services such as engineering.

dsi is certified in Illinois, Indiana, Florida, and Pennsylvania.  This allows us to compete in those states for both prime and sub consultant opportunities.  This work is primarily related to oversight of major roadway construction and rehabilitation, transit and rail projects, and university and college work.

dsi Associates has been certified since early in its history as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE).  This certification allows dsi to take advantage of preferences for participation in projects funded with federal dollars, primarily executed by state transportation agencies.
